Located in the heart of Anaheim, The Original Barrio Fiesta Of Manila stands as a vibrant beacon of authentic Filipino cuisine, inviting diners to experience a rich tapestry of flavors rooted in tradition. As a Filipino restaurant, it proudly showcases a menu that reads like a homage to classic Filipino favorites—each dish expertly prepared to evoke cherished memories and comfort.
One cannot help but be drawn first to their famed Crispy Pata, available in both large and small sizes. This deep-fried pork leg is a consummate celebration of crispy, golden skin enveloping tender, juicy meat beneath—a perfect marriage of textures and flavors that make for a truly memorable centerpiece. Complementing this standout dish are other crowd-pleasers like Lechon Kawali, famed for its crackly exterior, and Garlic Fried Rice, the aromatic, savory foundation that elevates every bite.
The appetizers are equally enticing: Lumpiang Shanghai, mini eggrolls stuffed with a savory blend of ground pork and shrimp, arrive perfectly crisped, while the Crispy Pusit offers tender, fried squid paired with a tangy vinegar-garlic dip that awakens the palate. For noodle lovers, the Pancit Bihon Canton Mix and Mixed Noodles offer vibrant flavors and hearty, satisfying bites, capturing the communal spirit of Filipino dining.
Beyond individual dishes, Barrio Fiesta offers thoughtfully curated family-style packages like the Todo Fiesta and Tipid Package, featuring a generous spread including Kare Kare—an indulgent peanut sauce stew—and hearty soups like Sinigang Baboy or Nilagang Baka. These packages not only provide excellent value but an immersive experience for gatherings, making every meal feel like a festive celebration filled with warmth and sharing.
The ambiance inside The Original Barrio Fiesta Of Manila is inviting yet unpretentious. The subtle island-inspired décor complements the food perfectly, evoking the casual, heartfelt essence of a Filipino home kitchen. Diners consistently praise the attentive service and timely delivery of dishes—even during busy hours—underscoring the restaurant’s commitment to genuine hospitality.
Patrons repeatedly express heartfelt appreciation for the consistently authentic flavors. Gary Bruce captures it best when he says the food “tasted like home,” while Kristina B highlights how the Crispy Pata and KareKare offer something special for those craving true Filipino comfort food. Whether introducing a friend to crispy delights like Chicharon Bulaklak or indulging a craving for the rich, hearty notes of Bulalo Bone Marrow Steak with Lengua, guests return time and again, drawn by the passion and care behind every plate.

Man, I have that had some good Filipino food in a long time and when I say, this place does not disappoint. This place does not disappoint. The fish is amazing. The garlic rice is amazing everything I’ve tasted, tasted like home food. It was amazing. I know they have somebody’s mom on multiple moms in the back of the kitchen getting down with the food. I will be back multiple times and I love the portions of the food very big family style portions. You will be very very tired after eating here.
First time to dine-in and I was impressed with the service but most importantly, the great food! The taste, portion size, presentation, service and the place itself are above par with other Filipino restos around the area. Those who are craving for delicious Filipino food would love to eat a great meal regardless of the price. It’s so worth it! Would bring more friends and families soon! Highly recommended!
This is our go-to restaurant when we miss Filipino food. We always have the Crispy Pata and Kare-Kare (not recommended for those with peanut allergy). Recently, we tried the Malabon (pancit/noodle) and my toddler love it. Service is quick and even though there were only 2 servers, everybody is served on time.
Googled closest Filipino restaurant near me and this place got my curiosity. Stepping into this authentic Filipino restaurant is like walking into a flavor-packed fiesta. The decor? Just enough island charm to make you feel like you've booked a one-way ticket to Manila. They have a special for $50 which includes a Crispy Pata that was phenomenal, Kare-Kare was okay, Steamed white rice was the perfect serving size. Staff were phenomenal. Came around almost closing and was not rushed and there were also several guests that were able to enjoy/finish their stay/meal. Noticed they had a family meal for staff. Had the same experience in Italy wherein they have family for staff. Nice to see!
We treated an Indonesian friend and brought him here at Barrio Fiesta. We ordered chicharon bulaklak, lumpia, crispy pata, pancit canton-bihon and sinigang. Chicharon bulaklak, lumpia and crispy pata were at their crispy best. Sinigang was too sour and, according to hubby whose taste buds are supersensitive, there was a taste of lechon kawali to it. Pancit was not one of the tastiest I had ever sampled. In fact, I just ate 2-3 spoonfuls of it which is unusual for me because I am a “pancit girl”. The main server looked serious and stern while the younger one had a happier disposition. Service was fast; we waited for just 10 minutes. Our guest was surprised with the speed. Talking about time, when we arrived there, it was 15 minutes before their opening time. Right on the dot, they opened at 4 pm. To the Barrio Fiesta staff, thank you for the good food and service. Mabuhay!
Had a little "old friends who are family" reunion here...family style meal was perfect. The kids loved everything- especially the kare kare and the pancit. The fried bangus was delicious...we ended up with so many baon leftovers. Great ambiance- very clean. The service was very patient with the amount of time we spent there and even was kind enough to take photos of the group. Definitely will be back.
This was my first time at this restaurant. My girlfriend is filipina and told me about it As we entered, we were warmly greeted and seated. We ordered sisig, crispy pata, kare kare. The order also came with a good amount of rice. Our choice of drink was Sago't gulaman. The kare kare was great. The peanut sauce was rich in taste. The meat was tender and rich with taste as well. The bochoy was fresh and not wilted. The crispy pata was the best we've had. The skin was well seasoned and crunchy. The meat was fabulous and tender. We ordered a small crispy pata, it was huge! The sisig was grilled and was perfect. The taste was one of the best I've had. We prefer the sisig to have chili's in it for a little heat. The sago't gulaman ws sweet and refreshing. The staff was friendly. When quizzed about the menu. The waiter had good knowledge of the dishes. Parking is not a problem with ample handicap parking.
